Your EV-Friendly Florida Road Trip Guide
Florida is the perfect place to enjoy it all. You can see some of the most beautiful landscapes in this country, as well as some of its most vibrant cities. It's the perfect destination for an eco-friendly road trip across the Sunshine State—and we've got just the itinerary for you! Palm Coast, St. Augustine, Orlando, Indian Shores, and St. Pete are just four of our favorite spots to visit in Florida, and they're all within a few hours' drive of each other. Here's what we recommend:
Day 1 - Legacy Vacation Resorts Palm Coast
The adventure begins in a pristine Old Florida-style destination. LVR Palm Coast is nestled along the banks of the Matanzas River and provides an immersive experience in nature for families of all ages. The property itself offers plenty of things to do from a gorgeous resort-style pool, mini-golf, nature walking path, outdoor games pavilion, and more. The spacious two-bedroom suites also boast full kitchens and a common living area so everyone can have the space to stretch out and relax. The local area serves up plenty of fun options for families including stunning beaches and parks (Washington Oaks Gardens is our favorite), whale-watching in season, miles of hiking and biking trails, and even a marine bioscience laboratory where kids can learn about local marine biology and witness sea turtle rehabilitation.

Day 2 - Explore St. Augustine
Just over 30 minutes away lies America's Oldest City. Take a day trip to explore some of the best spots in town like the Fountain of Youth, Castillo de San Marcos, Fort Matanzas, Lightner Museum, and much more.

Day 4 - Pick your Vacation Mood in Orlando

Families can check in and get settled in their well-appointed, two-bedroom units before hitting the pool or beach to stretch their legs. Day 6: Adventure to Downtown St. Pete.
A true gem, Downtown St. Pete is the best place to get a taste of the local culture. Here, you can take in the open-air museum of colorful murals that line the city's streets and back alleys along Central Avenue, then grab a bite to go from a local eatery (we absolutely love Bodega). If fine art is more your speed, enjoy world-class institutions such as The Dalí Museum, The James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art, or the Museum of Fine Arts.
Another can’t-miss spot in Downtown– St. Pete Pier! This amazing new structure hovers above the bay and features art installations, restaurants, playground areas, a splash pad, a beach, and much more. Round out the adventures of the day with a tasty treat in North Straub Park under the shade of towering Banyan trees along the shoreline.
